It was cool. Wasn't that funny, most of the stuff I've already thought about and now I know I'm not the only one thinking that kind of stuff. Nicely put together.

That sucked ass. The movie has alot of good, funny parts, but none of them were in the preview. just a bunch of random, dialogue-free scenes with lame ass music in the background.

Which leads me to the whole thing of releasing the movie on Sept 11th, 2002. PATHETIC. That is seriously the most pathetic attempt at seeming "hip" and "cutting edge" that I have seen in a long, long time. The whole beginning of the preview just screams "hey look, we're jynx and fester freelance, and we're so REBELLIOUS! Whoohoo!". Sad, sad, sad.

Tasteless, too. I'm sure if I decided to make a movie making fun of the Holocaust, i'd be booted out. now, if the movie (OH) actually had an intelligent point to showcase... but no. it's just shameless, ridiculous, gimmicky advertising that's entirely predictable too (picking the date... i mean, how motherfuckingly original).

Andres, is it just me, or are your reviews more predictable than the ending of Episode III?

Maybe he's right, Jynx. Maybe I should have put some more of the funny diologue scenes in the movie. in fact, maybe i should have put all of them in there. so that way everyone will have seen all the funny in the first 20 minutes of the movie. and when they watch it theyll be like, "yeah i saw this already. fuck this movie." that'll be AWESOME!
and you know what? Andres is right. This music DOESNT appeal to him at all, maybe i should message andres before I release my next preview and be like, "HEY ANDRES, WHAT MUSIC DO YOU WANT ME TO PUT IN THE NEW PREVIEW?" and he'll be like, "APOCOLYPTICA, BABY!" and i'll be like, "okay, I fucking HATE apocolyptica, but WHY NOT!?!?" and that way everyone else that fucking hates apocolyptica will be like "This movie's gonna SUCK" and andres will say, "THIS MOVIES GONNA ROCK!!!!!!"
and about the whole 9/11 release date. he's right. we should have made it 9/17 that way we wont be as rebellious, people will be like, "OH THANK GOD ITS NOT ON 9/11, WOOH, I THOUGHT THIS WAS GONNA BE ALL THE WAY OFFENSIVE, BUT IT TURNS OUT, ITS ONLY PARTIALLY REBELLIOUS BECAUSE OF THE RELEASE DATE." and you know what? it's not even funny that our whole ad campaign is, "This weekend... you can mourne those who lost their lives september 11th... OR YOU CAN LAUGH YOUR ASS OFF AND WATCH A COMEDY MOVIE ABOUT IT!" no. not cool dude. we need to cut back on some of this.
and andres, you wouldnt get booted out for a comedy about the halocaust! SHit, I'll make a movie about the halocaust! that would be hilarious.

EXT. OVEN - DAY

Nazi 1: Get in the oven, Jew.
Jew: It's mike.
Nazi 1: What?
Jew: the name is not JEW! ITS MIKE. OKAY!?
Nazi 1: youre right. oh god. youre right. youre not just another jew. youre a HUMAN. with feelings! Come on, lets get out of here, I recently got PEEWEE's BIG ADVENTURE ON LASERDISK. Care to join me?

INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

The two are watching that scene from peewee's big adventure where peewee lands off of that roof on his bike and that kid goes, "RADICAL!!!!!"*

You don't get it. It's completely predictable. It's like you stayed for a while saying "what would REALLY hype this movie? oh, i know! let's put in on sept. 11 because that'll be cool. whoohoo".

for the first time ever I think I have to side with Jay Ruiz on this argument.

it's true, what's the point of putting funny scenes in the trailer? it's gonna ruin the movie release when it comes out.

u seemed to call it all tasteless and everything, but didn't u already know that before watching the preview?

and I don't see the big deal in releaseing the movie Sep 11, 2002.

it just makes the release date more cool.

just like releasing a halloween movie on halloween.
or when Joe Joe the Clown was around, he wanted to release his trenchcoat mafia one year after on the exact day it happened. (can't remember the day)

So I really don't see the problem in them releasing the movie on Sep. 11.

Now if the movie's done in June, and they wait all the way till Sep 11 then that's kinda dumb.

but if it's gonna be done in Sep, might as well release it on the 11th.
