Is that supposed to be some sort of gotcha moment?

In the first example, I said that you sound insecure (based on your defensive reaction to something which didn't address you directly). I didn't say that you should feel insecure.

In the second example, I expressed personal views about my situation. If it works for you, great, like I said. I can't define whether you're happy with or without medicine. I would feel like a coward if I masked my problems with a pill and I'm entitled to that belief, just like you're entitled to consume chemicals to make up for the ones you don't naturally have and won't try to supplement with other means.

If you think "find an alternative to prescription medicine" is a profoundly stupid statement and not something more people, especially doctors, should be advocating, then I don't know what to tell you. Joke's on you, not me.

Wouldn't take his replies seriously, a lot of Anthropophagus' posts are just him projecting because he's a beta.

Something about being one of the older members and a hanger-on to a forum comprised almost exclusively of autists and guys like Bown doesn't scream "alpha" to me.

I always initially assume Sapone is trolling or playing up to his persona when he posts like this but then whenever someone dares to push back even a little he gets legitimately angry.

Ironically, Anthropophagus' posts in this thread have been depressing to look at.

I believe Christo when he says it based on his life experience. You just strike me as a wannabe and someone who would dick-ride a guy like Christo irl.

For real though, what kind of insecure man relies on shrooms to handle his anxiety? I reject such a cowardly approach to living and gain much more satisfaction from handling my business like a man.

Alright, I'm done with this thread. Especially because I've been talking shit for no reason when I self medicate with nicotine, caffeine, and alcohol all the time. Moral of the story: take whatever you need to get you by. Life's a bitch and it's not easy with or without medicine.

Here's my impression of Sapwn

I'd feel like a coward if I were you... I'm not saying you're a coward, it's just my personal opinion that you're weak... so I don't understand why you'd take issue with that or stand up for yourself, since I wasn't speaking to you directly. It must be that you are insecure

Yeah, to be fair it wasn't until you began talking shit that I ridiculed you for being a sissy so you're jumping ahead a step.

Yes. I took the smallest recommended dose for my weight when I started to have sudden panic attacks and my hair started falling out. I was under way to much stress. Had some stress about my job. Having moved. Not being able to get over myself and start some designs. Money. Other things.
The starting glow that you're talking about is familiar... but it never felt real to me, and I had a friend call me out on it, too. I didn't care. Felt good at first. But then I realized I COULDN'T feel worried, and that was bad. Two things happened that made me realize this. 1. I almost got into a car crash... like... inches away, and I just continued on with my day like nothing happened. 2. I was driving a fork lift at work and bumped a shelf hard enough to make half the warehouse stop and look to see if the shelf was about to fall and I didn't feel a thing. No fear. No adrenaline. Nothing. In that moment I knew that wasn't supposed to be. So I told my manager I need-not be on the fork for that day, and I stopped taking Zoloft then.

Now I take a low dose of Lexapro and it's been pretty good. I'm able to control my rage a bit and it's hard to have panic attacks... I've tried. But I can still feel fear and remorse and disappointment when it's needed.

Do not take what I say as a tale of why you shouldn't be on Zoloft. Different medications work for different people in different ways. I was self-aware enough to realize that mine wasn't. Zoloft works for hundreds of thousands of people to maintain their lives.

Don't be ashamed if it doesn't work for you, though. Keep in touch with your doctor about your ongoing mental health. I also suggest getting a therapist and talking about your feelings to see if there is a root cause that can be identified and treated. If so, great! If not, it's still okay. Chemical imbalances are real. Keep up the good work!

Yeah that's a good example. I've done a pretty good job overcoming anxiety on my own, but I'd prefer to continue doing a good job while not feeling so much stress.

For me right now it's seeing my thread full of drama, arguments, statements that should be insulting, and having absolutely no desire to engage in any of it lol

Nearhi are you running or doing any other type of daily workout? What is your typical meal like, fast food or home cooked? Do you go outside (in direct sunlight) for at least an hour each day? These are the fundamentals for a healthy mind

Maybe you really need medicine but I am just wondering what the lifestyle of zoloft customers is like before deciding they need a SSRI. Do psychologists (the most useless people in the medical industry, btw) even suggest these things before writing a script?

I haven’t read this thread but I would like to see Spawn make some posts while on Zoloft. Im imagining him trying to write this evil post but having to fight off the warm and fuzzies of the Zoloft hitting him. We should all get on Zoloft and zoloftpost together for a week.

Maybe you should take some Zoloft and see if it makes you heterosexual

I haven't met a doctor to date that doesn't recommend a healthy regimen and sure that helps people, but there are healthy people out there that still need medication.

Dude yeah if the stuff I listed hasn't worked for you then I guess you might really need meds. I still think that video is creepy & trying to propagate some type of pharma-dystopia though

You're bryce, right? I remember your old vids & its surprising that you have crippling anxiety because you seemed pretty happy & easy going on cam. Cool to see you posting again, hope your family is doing well

Those were made in a particularly dark time of my life... I think it was how I coped during those stints.
The family is well, thank you. They're the reason I don't have time to make silly videos anymore. Life is more work to feed the kids and provide them a bed to sleep in, feed the kids, put them to bed, play 2-4 hours of games or TV, and repeat.
And Bown is correct. I'm not so keen on having my name all over this board so much, anymore.
