I think I may be close to finding my first ever girlfriend!

Alright, so basically yesterday in math class this girl who I'd never seen before came in. She said that she was transfered from a different class and my teacher sat her next to me. Her name is Anne (it's short for something longer but I don't remember what it was). She's Asian and has pale skin and she looks really pretty. She's also about an inch or two shorter than me (my height is around 5'5" and a half). Today we got to talk to each other and get to know more about ourselves. That's when I also found that she has a really nice voice. It has a little bit of an accent to it. For comparison her voice sounds almost exactly like BMO from Adventure Time. I also got to see some of her personality and from my experience she's very caring and nice. Unfortunately math class is the only time we get to see each other and I'm not sure what lunch period she has. My plan is that once we know each other well enough we can exchange phone numbers, and then after a little longer I'll make my move and ask her out. I'm feeling pretty confident.

instead of straight up asking her out, you could instead ask if she would like to work on math homework and stuff together. That way her & her parents might feel more comfortable and you could start to build a good bond with her. then later you could ask if she would like to do something fun like see a movie or something else non-school related (aka a date). Any way she sounds nice, good luck

Yes, that's exactly what I'm thinking! Basically what I'm thinking is that once we've known each other enough we could exchange phone numbers to study/help each other on homework. And then once I feel the time is right I'll ask her out. However asking probably won't happen for a while.

And Payton, your advice is pretty terrible. It'd be rude to automatically assume that she's Japanese (her accent sounds faintly Korean) so that's not good.

yeah who knows, you may have more in common than you know. maybe she's into some of the same videogames as you or whatever. Just don't ever invite her to 3dmm.com..... letting her see this place would be a big mistake

Maybe you should ask her what type of people (don't say boys) would she like to spend the rest of her life with.

Well, unfortunately I have some sad news...
I was on my way to my 5th period class when I saw her by a wall and she was with another guy... with his arm around her. My heart skipped a few beats but I didn't make a scene and continued on.

Once I got home I cried for like 5 minutes out of pure sadness, but then once I recollected myself I realized that maybe this isn't the end after all.

See, what I thought of was to continue with getting her phone number some time next week for studying and work-related stuff, but instead of trying to convince her to date me we should just be friends for now. Then, slowly I could work my way up.

I know I might get called a pussy and that I should move on completely, but I think this is the best course for me to take right now.
