Hahaha wow. I didn’t know what to expect when i saw that thumb, but i’m glad i checked this out. Really cool use of the software, is this the first time someone here has had live action stuff intertwine with animation? either way this was a surprisingly charming little short that came across very well paced, cutting to the animated bits of Pupu in a way that worked well, very tasteful use of custom scenery with the sewage part too. overall great work!! my favorite part was definitely you kicking Pupu back into the 3D world, VERY well done

Y’know I gotta be honest I was really taken by surprise with the amount of effort put into this especially in the sewers camera movement like that is not something a typical new user would do. Anyways, the part near the end where Pupu gets transported to the real world was very creative and I think is worth the praise. Other than that, not too much going on in the animation department. Very simple but it has some genuine passion put into it, and that's all it needs because it's a children's story.

Honestly at first thought it was going to be a clickbait spam video, but the video itself comes off as well made. If I'm willing to judge this as a whole, live action, animation and acting, I give it a 41%. It comes off as a bit amateur sometimes however seems to have a certain charm to it. Judging it for the 3dmm parts, it gets around an 18% for me. Nice start to 3dmm though!

I don't know. The blending of 3DMM animation with 3rd party editing software/different mediums has never really been accepted by the community. It's seen as a cheap way of "enhancing" the movie, by playing outside of the program's rules. However, this film messes with 3DMM animation clips and live action in a pretty playful fashion, making an actual viable combination of the two mediums.
I'm pretty certain that is not the reason for the hostilities, though.
