How do I make a 3D font? Is there any way to do it?

I know there's a way to make custom actors and props, but how about fonts? Sometimes, I get tired of using the default fonts and I want to use the fonts I have made myself. If there's a program for it, let me know!!

It's an advanced process.

1. Download Superdings

2. Rename the .vxp file to a .zip, which will allow it to be unzipped

3. Convert your OBJ files to BMDL files, using a program like 40Convert

4. Unzip the zip file and open the .3cn in 3DMM Pencil.

5. Import each BMDL to each letter.

6. Use a random number gen to re-ID everything. Change all six digit numbers with a six digit random number generator. For the nine digit number at the top, use a nine digit random number generator. Re-ID everything that you can find.

7. Change the .cfg file's internals to your desire. Same goes for the .3th file. The cfg can be opened in Notepad, whereas the 3th requires importing things in Pencil.

8. Done!

Now, does it require a TTF file? I usually have those font files handy. Or do I have to convert the font to a 3D model?

You'll have to make all the font characters in something like Blender. I think all you need to do is use a text tool and extrude the mesh.
