The 3DMM Sci-fi Contest!!!


This contest idea was chosen in a Strawpoll between members of the 3DMM Discord.


RULES\FAQs

1. Entries must be made in 3DMM.
2. Submissions will be judged by Old Rivers, Dustin Guest, and I.
3. Once your submission is done, send it to me in a private message or direct message me on Discord (my tag is Plopilpy#4747).
4. The criteria for animations is story, animation quality, and originality.

The winner of this contest shall receive a Medal of Executive Commendation from Old Rivers, the President of 3dmm.com. If you're in the 3DMM Discord server, you'll receive a unique title to signify your victory.

Me, Doog, Toonsville, and Hans Grosse Have confirmed and most have already started working on their submission

JT and Kane are considering Darkry, Ruborg, 16BitBoy, and French Fry seem to be making a entry on it but not 100% on that.

Technically, Sci-Fi doesn't just have to be space. It can mean anything that's imaginary science or tech. Jurrasic Park is Sci-Fi despite it taking place on earth.

maybe the doraemon challenge is okay. i could have doraemon team up with Nobita and Bart Simpson to beat up Gian, Nelson, Jimbo, Dolph, Kearny and Suneo.

I'd make a PSA about how terrible that idea is. It would feature the entire Doraemon cast being run over by a car, then the remaining survivors being shot to death and their corpses being lit on fire. Bongo would walk to the screen, and address the audience about the terrible nature of Doraemon movies. The afore mentioned Simpsons/whatever characters would be deported.

It sounds to me like you want a “competition” where you can put as little effort in as possible to slap some stupid shit featuring unrelated characters doing stuff. Basically a competition where you don’t have to compete. Maybe just stick to making awful movies like usual. You have neither the skill nor the talent to compete with anyone.

Everyone here has 3dmm, and is capable of saving a file with 2 characters walking around a default scene.

I'll make the same comparison I've made before: Submitting mspaint pictures of stick figures to an art community. No one wants to waste time seeing it, and everyone is capable of doing it.
