I'll be honest, the most deadly situation I've been in was 3 months ago and I had to go through the hood to get back home since the road was blocked. I then thought it would be funny if I brought out my funny silly wee wee and showed it to everyone but then they got angry and snipers from the roof started aiming at my balls and then they finally "busted my nuts."

A few months ago, I was unplugging my laptop charger but somehow a small part of my finger touched one of the prongs on the cable and I got shocked. Miraculously though, I didn't get burnt, just that my finger was a bit red but that went away pretty quickly. It's a good thing that I wasn't holding anything made of metal in my other hand, otherwise the current would've completed in my heart and that would've been the end of me.

my story was when i was around maybe 9 / 10 years old. i was on holiday (vacation for you yanks) at a hotel and swimming park resort in britain. it had a very magnificent indoor swimming pool with slides, lazy river and a kids playground, a very big place. anyway, there were big current-based waterslides that went all through the place winding around and out the building, the exit of the slides came out into an outdoor pool where me and my sister were playing on that fateful day. i got too close to the slide exit while underwater and it sucked me in, i’m not sure what but some sort of water suction under the slide exit was keeping me under water at high pressure and my sister had to rescue me. she grabbed me underwater then had to push off the pool wall while holding onto me, it took a couple of frantic efforts and we both thought i was going to die. it may have been gurgled but i was definitely screaming help me!

Was hooking up machinery to a tractor and the hitch disconnected from the trailer and the equipment sprung upwards off the hitch and grazed my head.

Same thing happened with a shitty Chinese knockoff game console thing, it was like an NES classic but for the ColecoVision. I was unplugging it, and I accidentally jammed my finger between the two prongs of the outlet. It felt numb, then it started to feel really weird and I realized that I was getting shocked.

I got heat stroke and passed out on the side of the road once while riding my bike up a hill

I got drunk and fell asleep next to a canal and fell in

A fireworks store I was working in almost exploded

I took a real good dive wakeboarding that paralyzed my whole body for a full 15 seconds that I'm pretty sure I have some lasting trauma from that I really need to get checked out by a doctor

-almost slipped out of a carnival ride and plunged to my death when I was 7 or 8

-rolled my car when I was 17

-almost fell asleep at the wheel in 2017. could've easily hit the guard rail and gone off a cliff

Nothing too crazy.

I was helping my friend load various crap into the loft of his garage (it's the size of a barn and the next floor up is probably 10 feet). I was on the ground level and handing stuff up to him through the rafters. He positioned a full exhaust system - from headers back - on a rafter but not securely, I guess. I took a few steps away after handing it up to him and it fell to directly where I had been standing. Full exhaust weighs something like 70 or more lbs.

Various car accidents I've either been in or avoided. I caused a pretty bad accident when I first got my license. Not really my fault but someone swerved into my lane, then I swerved instinctually, and when I checked my side view mirror after the fact I saw a huge wood panel station wagon veering out of control and then crashing from avoiding me. Chain reaction.

Got a historic ice storm in 2014. Went outside to survey the damage around 5am as entire trees were uprooting and falling over. It was actually pretty scary as the power went out, it was dead silent, and all we could hear were non stopping cracking and thuds that shook the house from large branches and whole trees toppling over. While I was out back, I heard cracking above me so I ran out of the way in a random direction and a large limb, probably 8 inches at its thickest point, fell to where I had been standing.

Was riding ATVs in the woods and was on an underpowered piece of shit. I went up a very short but steep hill and the quad couldn't make it, so it sat almost upright at the peak for a moment and then slowly tipped back with me, pinning me under it in about a foot of water. My head was pressed underwater and I was completely stuck. I couldn't push the quad off me with my legs but a friend ran over and pulled it off. The scary part is I was at the back of the pack and nearly everyone had driven off, so I nearly drowned there alone in some shallow muddy water.

when I was 19, I worked at an adult video store that was only thing open at 2:00am. A guy in a mask came in with a gun, robbed the register, took out a plastic trash bag and started dumping toys and dvds into it, then had me go to the back room and lay on the floor. I laid there for 10 minutes wondering if he was going to pull the trigger, but finally looked back and he was gone.

Damn, that's pretty harrowing.

Also kind of surprised they hire 19 year olds.

I touched an exposed and live flood light filament when I was 11. The glass had broken off and I thought it was switched off, it felt like a train hit me. Luckily I was reaching directly up and I think gravity helped me end the shock after 1 second, but I'm reading now that it could easily have ended me.
