recommend a novel

Ideally something that makes you go, "fuuuck!" every page or two, but I'm not picky. Just recommend a single novel or seven or forty. Also please provide a brief synopsis of each, or post the book cover

I haven't read any novels in months. I'm going to start another Kurt Vonnegut tonight, and I'd like something else lined up when I am done.

Thanks guyz!!!

Angels and Demons is a really good book, I read through it once in the summer and I was pretty on edge the whole time. It's pretty lengthy though, around 800 pages if I recall correctly. I read the book in 60-page intervals and it took about two weeks to get through the whole thing.

The Maze of Death by PKD(~200pages) Pretty good. Not really something that makes you say "fuuuck!" every page or two but it'll do it here and there.

Title: Little Big Man
Author: Thomas Berger
Synopsis: After his family is killed by Indians, a white boy is forced to live among the Cheyenne plains tribe. As he grows up, he roams the American west, running into some of the great historical figures of the nineteenth century.

I almost exclusively read non fiction / biography, but this is the one novel that I love. It's way better than the lame movie version from the 70's.
