I'm thinking about getting classic DOOM, but I do have quakeworld and Half-Life so that should be a good amount of grown up points.

I've played it before. I prefer Wolfenstein 3D, however.

You prefer Wolfenstein 3d over Doom seriously? Wolfenstein 3d is not even that good even back then the only thing about it is that it had a really good texture mapping and faster gameplay compared to other games, it’s a fine game but compared to Doom come on

On the OTHER hand..

This kinda makes me like DOOM a bit more.

You should get it on Steam, I recommend getting the source port, GZDoom since both the Unity Edition and DOSBox are equally awful
