haha i'll never forget being terrified and confused by that appearing on my screen while popping in briefly for a quick browse before going to bed back when this was first released. i had no idea what was happening at first, thought maybe my computer somehow was being hacked or some shit but then I saw THAT FACE and knew Space Goat had done a funny

also is it me or it the starry background thing no longer working properly?

No, I think Ben's right. As of now, it's a square texture that jumps at the screen, which I'm pretty sure was not how it originally was. I think it was initially a more elaborate star effect.

It only works as intended in safari these days. I think firefox always had this problem, and chromium's blink engine is now behaving the same way firefox did back when I originally wrote this.
