technically both xbox one and PC but my PC can really only run things like minecraft and valve source games like counter strike, i don't really give much time to games these days, a bad mindset i picked up when i started taking music seriously because i began to think my time must always be productive

My most recent game system is the Wii. Wait, does the 3DS come after that? Then that one. I kinda wanted a switch, but I think I'll just wait until my kid is old enough for a system.

My current plan is to raise them through the console generations. Gotta have a healthy respect for 8 bits before you can appreciate 32 and 64!

Haha, not really, though. They're both mind numbing forms of electronic entertainment. Some old dumbass said the exact same thing when kids were playing NES, and now millenials and boomers are saying it about Gen Z and social media platforms. To be fair, as a 35 year old dude, we did play outside a lot as kids and didn't play video games very much even though they were available to us. The newer generation was born into a lot of modern technology, notably high speed internet and social media (two things which ruined society forever), and is hopelessly addicted, more so than my generation was or is. You can blame the people who invented this habit forming tech rather than the junkies hooked to it.

PC, Xbox One/Series S, PS3, PS4... I have so many other consoles, but anything that can be emulated efficiently isn't worth mentioning.
On a slightly related topic, is the concept of "retro consoles" dead? The PS3 and 360 were the last consoles to use custom architectures, and everything past that has moved towards more standardized technologies (PS4 and Xbone on x86, Switch on Nvidia Tegra, etc).
