Except for Martin Feugey. Why? Because he followed the sig/avatar rules. I also downloaded his 3dmm movie and it was absolutely awful and talentless, but it was actually made in 3dmm (or was it? The three minutes of black screen after character dances was not terribly artistic).

After digging deeper, the other accounts are by Martin as well. Beyond a consistent IP when signing up, there's a pattern of sign-up details not listed here to not give away the "tell." The point is, this is the same guy.

But here's where it gets good: Martin used an actual, working e-mail address to sign up. The information, including birthday, location, and more are accurate. Martin has ACCESS to 3dmm, knowledge of 3dmm tropes (Bongo, etc). Where the others were quick sign-ups, this was the one true account.


End conclusion: The children movie spambots were never spambots at all. The GoJetters stuff linked both users and information directly, spamming youtube clips.

This wasn't a bot that seeks out forums with movie posting. This is a user that knows what 3dmm is, knows how to post videos/mods and the unique information requested there, and posted all of that. This is weapons-grade autism.

In this day and age, IPs are hardly a hurdle. Back in 2012 we could circumvent them and get through a block. There's better ways now, but this is an old version of VBB and we gotta work with what we've got.

I would bet a good sum that the accounts listed are not all of them, just some of the most clearly linked ones. About two of those listed might even be innocents (!) that tripped a few too many sensors; it's not a perfect science. A lot more reading post history and comparing similar IPs than a CSI-style facial match.
