have you ever had to scream it? post in this thread stories about times where you have got caught in a situation where you have had no choice but to call for help. i recall BR having a tale of a friend recently that was a good example of what i’m looking for

my story was when i was around maybe 9 / 10 years old. i was on holiday (vacation for you yanks) at a hotel and swimming park resort in britain. it had a very magnificent indoor swimming pool with slides, lazy river and a kids playground, a very big place. anyway, there were big current-based waterslides that went all through the place winding around and out the building, the exit of the slides came out into an outdoor pool where me and my sister were playing on that fateful day. i got too close to the slide exit while underwater and it sucked me in, i’m not sure what but some sort of water suction under the slide exit was keeping me under water at high pressure and my sister had to rescue me. she grabbed me underwater then had to push off the pool wall while holding onto me, it took a couple of frantic efforts and we both thought i was going to die. it may have been gurgled but i was definitely screaming help me!
