There's at least one woman who died of a gunshot wound. Don't know what side she was on.

Man, I'm not very political but this really does make me upset that anyone could still support Trump after this without being an admitted fascist or literally diagnosed retarded.

Yeah in all seriousness this is just the most pathetic, depraved showcase of retardation I could imagine from Trump supporters, even by their already bottom-of-the-barrel standards.

I wonder if Trump will mass pardon all of them.

I love how Trump even had the audacity to try and cram his "stolen election" mumbo jumbo into his speech about calming down.

And some of these folks who aren't completely braindead and actually realize this is not good for them (and probably don't actually believe any of the conspiracies they parrot) are trying to spin the "antifa agents" conspiracy, which obviously isn't going to work when such vast swaths of these people are vocally supporting what happened.

What's the "antifa agents" conspiracy? Are they claiming that the rioters were actually antifa members in disguise?

Yup. I've seen comments saying that in multiple places and here's one high-profile example: https://www.sacbee.com/news/politics...248323395.html

it’s really not that far fetched, the idea of using controlled opposition/staging political protests to demonize your opposition. Not saying that is the case here since I’m really not paying attention to this shit anymore, but it’s not unheard of.

That line of thinking is very frustrating. People think because things are possible and that they fit with their current position that they're true, and actual likelihood is irrelevant. Many of these true believers are in full support of what happened, so obviously a giant mob of such people would happily carry out these actions.

Glad to hear you're not "paying attention to this shit anymore."

True, but the examples that I can think of are usually done by governments (like Hitler burning the Reichstag and claiming that his opponents did it) as opposed to a mob of random civilians, who would presumably be terrible at keeping the secret.

There are claims on Twitter that this guy is Antifa:

But..

Full/unedited image:

I joked about this happening yesterday (didn't think they'd actually do it) - Right wing groups decided to use "libtard logic" against them and claim that the intruders were Antifa in disguise. Same as when the left accused the right of hijacking BLM protests and causing the violence to make them look bad. No doubt in my mind that those at the Capitol building were Trump supporters.

Hmm. Maybe Dave was onto something.

Without a doubt those inside are Trump supporters, but could it have been Antifa instigating too, like this video suggests?
