there were a few ice cream trucks doing their routes in spring / very early summer during quarantine. they didn't go slow like normal they just blasted through which prob means they're just establishing route and don't want customers. and then during all these summer months, i have not heard a single ice cream truck. i guess they decided it isnt worth it.

Maybe they were rushing so much because the ice cream was melting into slime but then it melted so they gave up

Merida has some excellent coconut icecream, and the icecream truck always makes me rejoice. When I was staying at the Hyatt there was an Ice Cream parlour like 10 mins. walking distance from the hotel and me and my sister would go for walks in the heat to get liters of ice cream.

In Sisal I also tried melting coconut ice cream into my coffee to make coconut icecream coffee which was also really good.
