Alright gang. Lets try and get this going. Old Rivers recommended pokernow.club (Poke her now...I don't even know her!!!

) as a good site. I haven't played on anything but triplejack but that was more than ten years ago. So I say we try pokernow.club tonight and if we have trouble with it we can try a different site. I usually get home from work around 11pm (US Central time) or so, we can try to start the game around then!!! Whoever wants to join can follow this thread.

It is a pretty simple game, I can't watch any youtube videos so I'm not sure if this is a good video or not. But I found it on google, so this should be a simple explanation

EDIT: Actually this week I could do it earlier on wed thurs and friday too since I am working from home. Lets see how tonight goes and goes from there.

Sorry the time difference suxxx. Maybe on wed-thurs-friday this week we could work something out. If we do it at like 5/6pm it'd be around 10-11pm ur time right????

Im fine with 2am to 3am at the latest here, i do work nights after all. I try to return to normal time on weekends but that usually doesn't happen

How about we play for money + make it a drinking a game in which all losers must take a shot of liquor each round. Every player must invest in a bottle of liquor decided by the group each week (could be sake, could be whiskey, could be MOONSHINE). The more you drink the more likely you are to make mistakes so you don't really want to lose too much! After all, your money is on the line!! I am willing to play this type of game as a total poker noob

I agree with the basic premise but i think it should be the exact opposite, I think it should be the WINNER who must finish a hefty glass of liquor each time. This way it's more fair, otherwise we're just going to get the experienced players steamrolling everyone else. This could lead to a sequence of winners who quickly crash and burn (thus keeping the game fun & interesting) OR it could lead to a great story where somebody like MrMong who is God's lucky drunk ends up sweeping the table while completely blacked out

Either way could be fun. But if you play better when drunk then initially losing might eventually turn the tide in your favor. One thing is for sure! I would tap out in no time as a total poker noob
