Hahahaha! The ending is funny. Leonard sounded like he was voiced by Samurai Clinton. What an oddly specific premise for a movie.

Leonard was voiced by Samurai Clinton. I recently found his album "Samurai Clinton's Greatest Hits" on my old hard drive. One of the songs was a long talk song where he complains about Greenville (hating Greenville and specifically the ECU pirates was one of his fixations). I used a sound editor to isolate several of his lines in that song and one or two from other songs of his (devoted fans of 'When a Schoolbus Rusts' will recognize the line "We're in a very sensitive vehicle") and then just came up with a story that would allow me to use those lines in a way that made sense (which is why the plot is so oddly specific). That's really the only reason I made this movie. That, and because I needed to quickly make something to submit to Ding Dong's 3dmm Film Festival livestream. It was such a strange but wonderful sight to see a whole bunch of random twitch people all commenting "Hell yeah, Greenville sucks!" or "Those ECU pirates sure stink!" when this movie aired during the livestream. I remember one guy from North Carolina even saying "Thank you for making this tribute to our terrible, yet beautiful state."

Leonard's lines all being Clinton lines taken from various things was the reason why basically every single line from Sebastian is something that directly helps Leonard's lines make sense.

Lol! That's hilarious. I wonder what Samurai Clinton is up to these days. Have you tried to show him this movie?

He seems to have completely disappeared from the internet around 2017. That's when he last posted here, and he deleted his facebook account around that time. I think some one recently found a hint of his presence on some other website so at least he isn't dead or anything, but yeah he seems to have gone off the internet grid.

edit: okay yeah apparently he posted on ytmnd a couple months ago

edit #2: OKAY actually it looks he is back to posting regularly on ytmnd, having posted as recently as today. Hopefully he makes his way back here!

Should’ve included this in the first post. I like the movie even more now.

Sorry to bump but here's an HD mirror:

(I wish Goat would implement the Streamable BBcode)

the "HD" part about the link above is that it's uncompressed. Youtube will mangle 240p video into a pixelated mush because they wanna fit very low filesizes on their servers. if a file is shorter than 10 minutes, it can be uploaded to Streamable. hence, why I want the streamable BBcode so that we can upload our uncompressed mirrors of the files.
