eh. i can't use 3dmm no cd program beacuse it "needs cd" and thats stupid. i can't also use original 3dmm beacuse it "finds cd" an then an error "3dmm cd not found. search again?" or something. please help me, i've got a laptop

He's trying to use the no-CD as a stand alone and not a patch

But that's the old fashioned way, just use the modern installer:
