my new ART website

Hey guys!!! So the last couple years have been nuts, I really got into acrylic painting as a way to deal with stress from work. I started posting things online and before I knew it a bunch of them were going viral.. which is neat.. now I sell paintings and other art on the side!! I go by "Flooko" now in the art world. I have a site to show ya so you can see my wacky paintings

let me know what ya think

www.flookart.com

have an awesome day 3dmmers!

Really cool stuff! One that stood out to me is the lunar rain one.

It's amazing how many paintings you made.

Wow these are awesome! So detailed! I especially love the surreal space stuff. How large are they? I coincidentally just made an Art Gallery thread in Off Topic since many people don't come to this forum, you should post some thumbs of these

Tony, stop gratuitously posting nonsense in every single thread.

If you're really that bored, go hang out at the local soup kitchen.

These are so cool. Very atmospheric, crisp details. I'm jealous of your talents/work ethic.

Looking good man. Looking at your Instagram definitely makes me want to start painting more too.

I actually wanted to hit you up and ask you a question the other day.

showed my mom and sister your paintings, it blew them away.

my sister: "Omg. I am usually pretty picky with art, this guy is blowing my mind. There are soooo many paintings of his that I love. His style, his colours, his themes. Holy cow. I would fill
My house up with his paintings if I could. Thanks so much for sending to me "

I was just on reddit now and noticed this amazing painting getting every available upvote in existence, a few clicks later and I'm falling out of my chair realising it's Nick!

Fuck this place has produced some quality talent

You guys are the coolest, thanks for checking it out !!! I had crazy success on reddit the other day, as Deano mentioned. Its crazy how fast things move on social media !! I still do my regular 3d animation stuff, but this painting thing is slowly taking over !! I love that all you guys are still here to talk to even though I go away for so long. Talk soon!

yeah this stuff is great man. and going from your true passion in 3D modeling to finding more commercial success in acrylic painting would be a pretty hilariously backward story if that's how it works out

These are sick.

Have you tried mapping any in 3D?

not yet, But I do have an idea. I kind of want to re-create some of these paintings in 3d, but render them out in 360 and make a sort of VR walkthrough
