Plot Summary:
I have been working off and on this one for a few years now, but finally finished it yesterday. It's my own "Ren & Stimpy" episode, where Stimpy is terrified by Nickelodeon's 1990s "Opera" station ID (loosely based on how it used to scare my brother when he was a little kid), while Ren is scared of Nick's infamous "Pinchface" logo (this I based off various YouTube comments on how it scared numerous kids; I was mostly indifferent about that ID myself). Ren decides to torture Stimpy with the Opera logo, and then Stimpy gets the idea to get back at Ren using the "Pinchface" ID! But then it gets worse...
I do a couple incidental voices in it, but for Ren and Stimpy, aside from the comic-style captions, I use actual voice clips of Billy West as Ren and Stimpy, along with John Kricfalusi's Ren and Eric Bauza's Stimpy (using the stock N3DMM voice clips, and audio clips I recorded from the actual episodes). And yes, this was mostly made for those into 1990s Nickelodeon nostalgia (as I grew up with Nickelodeon in the 1990s.) |
