I've been noticing people throwing the word "cuck" around. Is this a fad connected to something I missed on the forum or a total coincidence that at least two people (BR, Izak) are using a term most routinely uttered by hyper masculine destined to be Republican white high school kids? In terms of Cal, I could have searched for that. I was asking what he's doing now. He used to be part of a larger Aussie cohort so someone has to know.

I imagine this forum is sort of like life. It reaches a high point, fairly early on, then it slowly dies out as the people you know and love perish and your memories of making 3dmm movies fade and are replaced with less interesting memories like your children being born. We're all going to die soon. Riddled with disease or dementia.

Cal is still alive, but has nothing to do with 3dmm.com or seemingly any of its present or past members (possible exclusion of Dean Francis and/or Cade).
Bown eventually had enough of being bullied and bailed on the board.
And yes, 3dmm.com is now the kind of space where the term 'cuck' is used unironically - some threads run at a similar level to the more pathetic subreddits.

cuck is kind of a humorous word. it sounds funny and it represents a funny concept. and it's funny how overused it is. there's a lot of levels of irony to enjoy in certain cases

but mostly it's just sort of entered the cultural lexicon as a generic insult, like "fucko" or "dickface"

but i mostly just like it as a random slur. because other words get sorta boring, so new ones are fun. its esoteric meaning doesn't really apply much for how i like to use it
