Yeah I saw a local news report on this and it was pathetic. They were interviewing a sheriff in a suburban community and he basically said "We haven't seen any clowns in this area yet but if we do they will be arrested immediately. We have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior! Think of the children!"

What if the reporter is secretly the "mysterious creepy clown" that is terrorizing the community? He generates the fear that he then reports.

It seems like it might or might not be turning into a literal crime wave. Like, it already was, if you consider disturbing the peace to be crime, but there are multiple people just swapping out ski masks for a clown masks before they rob places now. One of those guys robbed a bunch of banks in Michigan and Ohio. A guy in a clown mask literally shot at a cop and ran off, in my hometown, today. It's becoming a fuckin crime meme.

this shit has spread to where i live now, last week i saw a clown outside my bedroom window at 2am honking away with his stupid little horn trying to be a creep. i think he targeted my window because he could see the lights on, i told him to fuck off and he just stood there doing that head tilting shit that supposed to be scary. i armed myself with a metal pole i went outside to confront him, one of my neighbours (who's literally just had a baby) also came outside and the clown just took off down the street honking his horn even more. i tried to pursue him but fortunately for him i ran out of breath and he got away. i too need to work on my cardio and of course stop smoking.

i'll freely admit i have a lot of pent up rage after choosing not to beat the shit out of a former friend of mine who drunkenly trashed my house and hideously disrespected my dead father a few months ago. this creepy clown thing also genuinely vexes me so suffice to say if this idiot chooses to come back or someone else decides to try and be funny, i will catch them.
