they're ex-botch.

i like them. they're ok. they seem kinda like a frat-rock band, but with more chops.

but i dont like their stupid song titles. never got into that kinda throwaway shit. song titles are important, so are lyrics. i had the same issue with botch

yeah, i think that stupid, long song titles (of otherwise serious songs) and band names thing were a trend among alternative rock and post-hardcore bands in the early 00s. haven't seen much of it in the past few years.

but yeah, i don't like that kind of song titles, or lazy ones that were obviously just spontaneous shit they came up with while jamming at the rehearsal space or something (my band has this problem sometimes).

My favorite, by far, is Absinthe Party in the Fly Honey Warehouse. It's amazing.


Although it's either home run or complete miss, I am also loving their Acoustics albums.

I've only ever heard this album and I saw them live in concert without having done any homework on them, but I enjoyed them!
