I sometimes browse some old threads and to my surprise, a few still got valid picture URLs in them. One thing that really sets me off, is when I see broken imageshack links that got that stupid iTunes scam advert in them.

I know of one forum that only allows pictures that were uploaded as an attachment (but doesn't act like one) beforehand, for the sake of preserving images for the future.

Now, I know that perhaps this might not seem essential to most people but I think it'd be kinda sad if threads wouldn't be understood 5-10 years from now on.
