Bongo goes back in time is a short film created by the universally praised "Nooby" member. The plot of this masterpiece of a film is as follows, Bongo (as himself) goes back in time to discover how little kids made 3DMM movies back when the game was originally released. Such as going into the Nickelodeon maps, the default music playing in the background the entire time, and of course the lovely sin of having the actors clipping through walls.. However, unlike those dark times, "Bongo goes back in time" did all of these the right way. That alone makes this movie very enjoyable, now let's get onto the rest..
...The Acting... (8/10) While many critics of the 3DMM.com website have panned this movie for being atrocious (mainly the acting) they seem to have forgotten that nobody in this movie talks. This alone adds in a very large amount of character development. Sure, it might not be said in the film, but this is just obvious.. Bongo clearly got a disease while he was a young child watching some random man who claimed to be his uncle doing a trick with a hose that made him become a mute. This is very dark and something never before done in a 3DMM movie. All the other actors, including the clone of Bongo that randomly appears within a shot, and changes the clothes each frame, Patrick the infamous actor who has been claimed to be a sex offender for many years now may have been "dull" actors, however nobody gives a shit about them, we all came here for the adventures of Bongo. ...Animation... (9/10) In several scenes of said movie, Nooby constantly switched between showing the actors on screen, to CGI. In certain scenes as when Bongo clips through the walls, or when he goes back in time, CGI was used, amazing CGI might I add.. Sure, due to the limited amount of technologies it was only possible to have the CGI run at 5 fps, but that just adds in more detail. Bongo is said to weigh at 800 pounds and growing, so of course he would only move that slow. As I mentioned earlier, Nooby Studios only had a limited amount of technology to make this movie, so the CGI wasn't the greatest. It looks outdated compared to other movies that came out this year like "Bank Robbery" created by Theflyingcar, or even the trailer for "BMLK Act 2" by Austin French Fry. However, despite it looking like an early N64 game, it still was very well made. ...Sound/Music... (10/10) My personal best part of this movie was the music, the music just brought joy to my ears every second I was forced to listen to it while sitting in an electric chair with Nooby pointing a gun at my forehead. 99.9% of the critics who watched/reviewed this movie adding in extra criticize for using the "default 3DMM music", however that was not done. Nooby and his band "The Noobies" put a lot of time, effort and pride into performing the music. Really what I'm trying to say is, critics need to just listen to the music before they use the ultimate insult on it, (calling it the Default Music) Sure it might sound somewhat similar, but that's because The Noobies also did the default music of 3DMM, and N3DMM. ...Overall... (9/10) Overall, Bongo goes back in time is a great popcorn movie to watch with your friends, children, or even the dead. The adults will appreciate the adult humor of Bongo having a sexual relationship with Patrick in the deleted scenes on the DVD/Blu-Ray, and the children will enjoy the immature humor of Bongo farting the entire time. Bongo goes back in time is easily the best movie to be released on 3DMM in years. And of course when I call it a great movie, I actually mean it's an abomination, and a major insult to 3DMM movie makers all over. |
