Currently using my weekend off to binge through Mozart in the Jungle, amazon's latest original show. It's very good, although broader and more cartoony than I was expecting to begin with. Between this and Transparent I really like what amazon's been doing recently.

Serial is great, I had a lot of fun with that. Only other podcast I've been listening to recently is "U Talkin' U2 To Me?" but I'm pretty far behind there.

i'm loving arrow and the flash at the moment, both shows are really great and a lot of fun. i still watch doctor who but it's beginning more and more to feel like an obligation, i'm enjoying peter capaldi as the doctor but the writers are giving him some terrible material to work with.

i'm a little surprised at myself that i still watch agents of SHIELD, it started off so badly but i've found it's really picked itself back up and found its feet recently. it's still not great but it's not exactly awful either.

all these shows however are taking a break at the moment. i've been keeping myself preoccupied watching bates motel on netflix. i really like it so far, much more interesting than i thought it would be.

not really much of a podcast person but i have found myself checking into the screen junkies youtube channel every sunday to watch/listen to their "movie fights" discussions.

The only thing I'm watching at the moment is King of the Hill from the very first episode all the way to the last, just started on Season 7. Really getting into it.

I was doing a "project" this year of watching at least the first episode of every single new show on TV, but the only two I liked well enough to stick with were Gracepoint and Intruders, and they're both over now (and The Flash was terrible, Ben - even just among "new 2014 superhero shows," Gotham and Constantine were both better). I only ended up making it up to shows starting with the letter M, though, so I might have missed some alphabetically-late gems. The only non-new show I've bothered to keep up with this season is The Walking Dead, but I'll probably catch up on Boardwalk Empire and Archer (and possibly The Affair, another new one) at some point

Ah yes I forgot about Gotham. Fantastic show. The Penguin always steals his scenes. What a ham.

The Flash is kinda good and bad. I still tune in but I feel less enthusiastic every time. I may not make it to the end of the season the way they're going.

Also I as well am current with The Walking Dead. Hated the most recent couple of episodes though. The season premiere was the best episode in a while.

Man they stopped releasing King of the Hill over here after season 5. I really want to watch the rest of the series

i haven't watched constantine yet, not entirely interested to be honest. gotham has its moments but i don't think it's great. i like the flash though, it started out okay and has slowly gotten way more interesting, particularly now that a certain reverse flash has appeared, opening a lot of doors to more in depth and compelling stories. i'm looking forward to seeing the whole time travelling side of the flash mythos slowly unravel. plus like the marvel movies it's fun seeing its stories and characters intertwining with Arrow, which i think is a really fantastic show that has only continued to get better.

Is anybody a fan of Community? It's my new favorite show of all-time. It's so much fun--except for season four, where the creator left the show till season 5 when he returned. I hear that Yahoo picked it up for a sixth season. Am crossing my fingers for another brilliant season.

the first season of community is one of my favorite seasons of any show. i thought the second was great too. the third was pretty bad cause that was when they started turning them all into cartoon characters, and the fourth was so god awful that i stopped watching the show entirely halfway through it. never bothered to watch the fifth.

The fifth is as good as season two imo. They had a lot to make up for after season four and I think they pulled it off.

Yeah the fifth season is definitely worth a watch, it's really good. They refer to the fourth season throughout it as 'the year we had the gas leak'

Agent Carter is for now pretty much fantastic. Like it way way better than the disappointing Agents of Shield.

Been watching a lot of South Park lately, because I started playing the Stick of Truth, which is a great game.

Been watching The Celebrity Apprentice since it came back. Geraldo is a dick but without him all we'll have to watch is the women bitching.

Just burned through all of Parks and Rec. Love the hell out of that show.

I'm just starting Mad Men and Sons of Anarchy. I heard the ending of SOA sucked, but what the hell. I heard the bulk of the series was pretty sweet.

Also, I've been watching the shit out of Archer.

Sons of Anarchy is a boring, poorly acted mess. However, although I was in rehab with one of the cast members. So that was cool.

Parks and Rec is a blast. I still miss The Office though and think it had a better cast. That Indian guy on Rec is a fucking pain to watch. Ugh.

Agreed on Aziz. I love his stand up, but Tom is my least favorite character on the show. Sometimes he's funny, but the hip hop swagger thing gets old really fast.
