Some more crafts.

Been doing some more crafts, been a while since I posted anything, so some of these are a bit old.

Cot blanket I made for Matthew, a bit late.

A hat I made (blatant copy of that classic cheesy animal hat)

This is a star thing I tried out, going to make a little animal head and it can be one of those toy cuddly things.

This child. I crafted this beautiful child.

Some baby hats I knitted for charity

Blanket.

Lame head warmer things that some friends wanted made

Big blanket I made by using up scraps of wool, excuse the lame ex bf, only picture I have of it

Baby mobile

Two cross stitches and a blanket I finished over Christmas

Hat

Embroidery on linen.

The blanket looks really nice. So does the star. Also did you knit these all by hand? (Not Bongo or whatever his name is of course)

haha this just feels like an excuse for jamie to post another picture of bongo, only in the art gallery to pass him off as a creative project

Updated five years later! I've been doing a lot more over the last few months

I've been selling them online and it's going well but the market it pretty saturated so I don't know how hard I'll push it. Making stock and commissions is keeping me busy enough.

Those are really quite good! I am impressed! That's like, purchase-quality in every way. You should have an etsy if you don't have one yet!

Thanks! I haven't opened an Etsy store yet but I have listed some stuff on the NZ version - www.felt.co.nz/purljamnz

I'm playing with pricing at the moment - I had everything quite cheap to see how sales would go but the marketing team asked me to raise my prices and they are advertising some of my stuff in a magazine this weekend so hopefully that will boost some sales.

I've also got a few things in an exhibition that runs for six months in a local art store and I've sold quite a bit through there, and this coming month I have two lace shawls (the yellow one and multicoloured ones above) and an embroidery in the main art gallery for the area. So that part of it has been exciting.

Since I started doing it properly I've sold maybe $900 of stuff. It's not a lot for pretty much six months work. Hopefully it perks up a bit with winter coming otherwise I might just go back to doing it for charity/gifts. Less pressure that way.
