I love cats and am getting warmer towards dogs but I hate when people just post pictures and stories about their pets. This one girl I used to work with would not shut up about her cat, everything always came back to it, she'd even take sick days off if her cat wasn't feeling well. Ridiculous.

hahah, a few is fine - i'm all for once in a while but this girl is 'alfie this, alfie that' and the conversation always sways towards her fucking cat. She would post statuses like 'ALFIE IS CHOKING WHAT SHALL I DO? IVE PUT MY FINGERS DOWN HIS thROAT to GET IT'. its a cat, what are you trying to do, let it cough up the furball like normal.

i love my dog, he's one of my best buds i know he really respects me too because unlike with everyone else in my family, he actually listens to me and does as he's told. i think the bond we have with dogs is truly special and unparalleled.

cats suck obviously. my idiot housemate has a cat and it keeps walking around meowing at 3am and she's literally doing NOTHING to sort it out. and sometimes it sits on the stairs in the dark which is REALLY dangerous because it's fucking retarded and doesn't move if you walk up to it. so i could like, trip and die any night i happen to walk down my own stairs.

so now whenever it's just me and the cat in the house and it's in my walking line i'll like..... NOT kick it, but if it's in my path i kinda give it a... shove with my shin so it can learn that being in my walking path is a problem. ahahah also i came back drunk last week and started hissing really loudly at it. fucking retard cat still just sits right under your feet though.

i like cats more than dogs for people to have as pets in general because i feel like so many people use dogs as like an automatic friend that they only care about when they feel like it and end up not paying attention to them as much as they should or controlling them from annoying other people

cats in general you can kinda leave alone and they dont care and they dont go outside and start screaming for hours. but yeah they can be annoying too if the owner isn't good

btw my house is surrounded by 4 dog owners. sometimes 3 are outside at once and they shout across my property to communicate. (edit: the dogs, that is)

yeah that stuff is always annoying, i can see why you'd prefer cats under those circumstances.

ironically enough the block of flats i live in has a woman who has like twelve cats or something and there's another woman who has like four or five more. every night i hear cats outside my window fighting over territory or something, at this point though it's kinda funny. almost as common as seeing a normal fight outside my window.

pros:
-loves you unconditionally
-cleans up food you drop on the floor,
-can be pretty entertaining

cons:
-barks at everything, especially anything known to be non-threatening
-is basically disgusting most of the time
-stares at you while you eat, as if to say, "how can you eat that steak in front of me and not share??" but we both know they're perfectly happy eating garbage, dead animals, and their own feces

CATS

pros:
-fun to pet, irritate
-low maintenance
-hunts mice if you're lucky

cons:
-are boring, stupid assholes in general
-sheds like, everywhere, way more than a dog
-shits in a box and thinks it's better than you

i'm living in greenwich right now until next month while i finish university. last week i saw a drunk driver evade the police, a bicycle thief get arrested and two drivers yelling and threatening eachother because neither refused to give way to the other. that was all in one day.

oh and last year a guy who lived on the top floor of this block of flats was arrested for murdering a guy in the middle of the street with his friend. both who apparently attended my university.

so yeah, this is a friendly neighborhood.

i'm serious, this guy (not to mention his family) has been a fucking nightmare to live under. he has got to be one of the most repulsive brain dead pieces of shit scumbags i have ever had the misfortune to have as a neighbor. i'm not a violent man by any means but god i wanna smack this guy. hypothetically if i were to see a gang of dudes beating seven shades of shit out of him, i would literally cheer them on and ask them to give him an extra hard kick in the bollocks from me.

every day this guy wakes me up, it's like having an alarm clock living above me. today i was awoken by the sound of him screaming and punching his bedroom wall. it's in these incidents where i shout through my ceiling that he fucking sucks at video games and tell him to shut up. the only response i ever hear is him stamping and calling me a cunt. so neighborly.
