Prof Spaz's unseen movies
Prof Spaz's Avatar
Plot Summary:
"This Section contains all my movies that either didn't send when I sent them or I made before I found the community."

Directed by Andrew Metcalf / Prof Spaz.
I know 3DMM Studio has the full run of Wouldn't It Be (do we need a thread for that?), but I don't think his "unseen" films have been archived since his site vanished. Pity, because Jurassic Park 3 is still one of my favourite movies in 3DMM. Would love to know if his other films are still in anyone's collections!
Zip contains:

3D Movie Maker
Frankie's 3dmm Expansion Pack 1
Doraemon Expansion
Nickelodeon Expansion
v3dmm
Category:
Genre:
Release Year:
Company:
Andrew's Cheapo Productions
Runtime:
~10 minutes
Platform:
Windows 98
Windows 98

Woah, I just watched Jurassic Park 3, and damn you're right, it's amazing. It's so entertaining and stupidly funny, but it looks absolutely effortless. A good approach to follow, I think.

That dissapointing moment when you see a new post from an old and well loved member, only to find out it was posted by someone else.

Pool of Doom has a cool distinctive old school feeling. It could be one of the sample movies that came with 3dmm.

Just watched Quicksand. It's so surreal to see a safari guy walking around the safari default scene with a safari accent, a safari conflict, and totem poles as static background decoration. But it's totally fun, engaging, and natural, like raw 3dmm.

I feel like Prof. Spaz was the Georges Méliès of 3dmm.

edit: or was he not influential at all? I don't actually know.

edit 2: watching a lot of prof. spaz stuff right now. It's aged surprisingly well. Still totally watchable and entertaining.

Ok this is the actual Prof Spaz how did this stuff even get posted using my account. I am amazed people like and still watch this stuff. I'm 30 now and made most of these over 12 years ago. I seem to think i made another sniper movie and i have still got lots of movies from the old days, will maltby, matt mcgowan is there sone software i can use on Windows 7 to view my old movies at the correct frame rate? If so i will upload some more of my stuff as i still have it all.

When people add someone else's movies to the database, the moderators go in and change it to the actual author.

I don't know about getting it to work on Windows 7 (I thought it did just fine?), but if you have any movies that aren't on 3dmm Studio or the 3dmm.com database, it would be a very good thing to upload them, otherwise maybe they'll be lost forever. Supacat, the guy who started this thread, regularly encodes 3dmm movies on youtube, so if you uploaded them I imagine you might get to see them eventually even if 3dmm doesn't work on Windows 7.

Yeah, basically it'd be best to just post them here as if you were releasing them yourself, and then a moderator will change it to the proper director. Alternatively, just put them all in a zip and upload them in this thread, and then someone will do it.

3dmm studio is kaput as far as updates, and has been for seven years or whatever. It's just like the last 3dmm archive site apart from here (and the links aren't always reliable here).

And the thing about the virtual machine (what Copper linked to), is that the primary download is somewhat sketchy, and I'm not sure there's a way to get it at the moment (at least navigating from here). I could use it as well right now.
