60 Minute Song Creation Contest #47: Hospital

Welcome! This is the
47th 60 Minute Song Creation Contest! With some slightly adjusted rules which you can read below.

This week's theme is:

Hospital
Theme chosen by Scatterbrain

Deadline for all entries - Wednesday 22nd May 10PM GMT no deadline just waiting to get a minimum of 5 entries. Two to go so get writing!

THE RULES:

Song must be started from scratch, written and recorded IN 60 MINUTES. However, based on a suggestion from long ago, if you want to scrap your song and start something new in another 60 minutes then go for it. Obviously you must start something brand new from scratch in your fresh 60 minutes rather than just a better version of what you started.
Just in case you have a problem that stops you working and eats at your time, definitely check everything you're going to use is working before you start, just in case!
Must be an entirely original track written within the 60 minutes, so you can't sample other songs. Pre-made drumloops are allowed if people aren't too savvy with sequencing their own, or just want to save time to write the actual tune.

but yeah i was going to say the theme you suggested [Dark Medieval Scarytown Battle pt. 3: The Re-Bloodening] was a bit too specific and that can put people off entering...not that we've had stacks of entries the last few weeks. GUYS?

no entries besides me and Eukos who got basically started and finished his right after his post which is pretty cool! but yeah you've got another 24 hours anyway, although i might extend it to thursday if people still want to enter??

sounds like a good idea, it might mean sometimes they take longer to close than usual but at least there's a good number of entries to hear each time! 4 entry minimum sounds like a good cut off, hopefully it'll lead to us getting back to 5 or more (eventually)

so Pizza, if I get entries from Lohr, Nickson and you this week we'll give it a go next time

i kinda wanted to join this week but i didn't find the theme very inspiring, i guess maybe other people felt the same way? but hey i dunno, if you're lookign for a surefire way to kill this thing...

haha what's going on here? I like that there's a debate happening and people actually giving a shit but it's weird how it's with two guys who've never entered, so I hope we can look forward to you both entering in future?

That said, I'm sorry you don't find the theme inspiring. All I can suggest is entering this week in spite of that and hope you win and get to pick the next one.

Going back to your problem with Pizza's suggestion, I didn't say it was going to be done that way every week now. It's definitely worth trying though, at least. It's not like we've been getting loads of entries each week, or votes for that matter once the polls are up. If you have another idea though, go for it.

yeah sorry. I'm not a very active poster and didn't realize this contest was a thing until recently. still think it's a dumb, restrictive rule to enforce though

hmm i thought it seemed neat because its less restrictive. right now every single week people ask for an extension, and with this that probably wouldnt happen because if they didnt enter the contest wouldnt be ending anyway. i dunno
