Welcome to the
46th 60 Minute Song Creation Contest!

This week's theme is:

Fishing
Theme chosen by Dominator Dan

Deadline for all entries extended - WEDNESDAY 8TH MAY 10PM GMT

THE USUAL RULES:

Song must be started from scratch, written and recorded IN 60 MINUTES. Even if you start again, whatever time you'd already used is gone.
In case of accidents/errors make sure all your software, plugins, etc. are working before you start!
Must be an entirely original track written within the 60 minutes, you can't sample other songs. Pre-made drumloops are allowed if people aren't so savvy with sequencing stuff.
As usual, PM me your entry and it'll be uploaded to the brand new Liam's Uploader account we have! Please do not post in the thread.

I don't fish, so this theme was a real challenge.
My track was more or less about the whole being patient and waiting and the general tedious-ness (tediousity?) of fishing.

I liked yours a lot Stan, especially that beat that comes in halfway through, i know it's a cop out to say but it does sound like it could work well in a fishing game

Apologies for the guitar on mine, restrung it just before starting and the tuning I was in wouldn't stick so it sounds a bit off in parts.

Stan's was more interesting, but I voted Scatterbrain because it matched the theme better. Stan's was more like finding a lost tribe in an adventure game.

Both are cool, but Stan's just doesn't make me think of fishing really, so I'm voting for Scatterbrain's.

haha stan's reminded me of crash bandicoot, i enjoyed it, but yeah, not very fishy, although i liked the last half or so where you got those weird sounds going on, that had more of an interesting OCEANIC vibe to it, but yeah, gotta go with scat cause that was just straight up nice fishing experience music hell yeah sorry i didn't enter
