The Lodge
Gazbo's Avatar
Plot Summary:
A man and his family are the care-takers at an old lodge and find themselves haunted by an evil presence.

I've literally worked on and off with this for 10 years. I was playing a lot of Silent Hill at the time and that along with The Shining film were my major influences. It was pretty much finished in 2006 but I just got distracted with uni & work. The sets are ugly and the animation is basic but it is what it is.

I'm glad to just finally have it done. Enjoy!

That was really good though I wasn't expecting it to just literally be The Shining with minor differences. The scenery looked good and some of the pans and camera angles were creepy (the one at 7:00 on the first video looked really cool, but I wasn't sure if that was just misty city covered with blocks). The shots of all the rooms at the end was creepy and awesome. Anyway I can tell you put a lot of effort into it and it is pretty creepy and very well-made.

I'm going to agree with Old Rivers on this, but considering that this was started 10 years ago, I'm just going to take on an additional 5 years and pretend this came out in '98, as it had all the fixings of a movie for that time. People used to remake stuff all the time in 3DMM.

Great scenery, and I loved the reading of the last line best
