I got a lovely gold and silver watch, four WWE wrestling posters (hilarious but the fuck am I gonna do with those) $100 art supply store voucher, Gerry Brownlee calendar. A grandma crocheted me a doily that sassy genius.
Quiet Christmas, but that's what I wanted, first Christmas alone and all that. Next year I'm going to try spend it with a sexy 3dmmer and send you guys all e-cars of us in knitted reindeer jerseys.

Merry Christmas y'all.

Got giftcards for shoes and cinema tickets, some money, season ticket for the national jazzscene, pretty sure I'm getting concert ticket for Kendrick Lamar from a friend of mine, and last but not least, return-flight ticket from London (I could only afford a one-way ticket when I ordered it a couple of months ago). Leaving in a few days and spending NYE in London, so it's nice to be able to fit all Christmas gifts into an envelope.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

My main present is money to go to India later this year so just got a few little things like MiniDisplayPort-HDMI cable and a beard trimmer, plus Assassin's Creed III from my aunt and uncle. Spending the day at theirs with my cousins and grandparents as usual. My grandma is getting so senile

Dead Rising 2 and Just Cause 2, money and 1 Asda voucher, several new t-shirts and numerous stocking fillers. I'm also in Scotland, with pretty much all of my family. It's really great up here, mountains everywhere.

I was expecting to not like it just cause it was a "BIG BLOCKBUSTER GAME" kinda thing, but its honestly a really really good game and I really enjoy it. So yea hopefully by the time I get around to playing assassin's creed III it will be cheaper haha.

I personally thought AC3 was the worst in the series and the setting is boring as fuck to me, i'm about 15% through and haven't gone back whereas the others i was glued to and loved every minute.

Not to shit on your eventual playing of it, i'm just a bit let down by it.

Having just finished AC3, it has a fairly slow start. Which being Assassin's creed means it takes quite a while. It's still not as good as AC2 but once I (eventually) got into it I really enjoyed it in the end.
As for me Christmas wise, I got Halo 4 and a bread maker, plus a few other smaller things. Quite happy over all.

got a sweet jumper, few gifts in the steam sales (dark souls, alpha protocol & arkham asylum) and a bit of cash here and there
fairly quiet minus the obligatory heavy drinking and eating. I've had to take quite a few timeouts this time

Haha, yeah, I was just thinking about this recently. When I was a kid, my aunt and uncle would buy me clothes every Christmas - like "ugly sweaters" which are now worn ironically. It was such a cliche and I hated it. Luckily when I hit 11-12, they started giving me money instead and in fact gave me the most money out of everyone in the family, so I suppose they redeemed themselves for the decade of poor gift-giving beforehand.

But now I love getting clothes because, as you mention, they are such a rip-off if you want to dress nice. That's all I asked for from my girlfriend. She hooked me up with a ton of Ralph Lauren (my fave!), including polos, underwear, a half-zip fleece, a full-zip hoodie, and a North Face fleece thing. I dress like a stereotypical yuppie but I don't really give a shit. Other than that, I just got assorted odds and ends, like gift cards, from my small immediate family.
