The scale is a bit lost until you zoom in on the tiny camps along the bottom of the frame. I thought those were flowers when I first looked at the photo.

another amazing mountain is the K2, because unlike everest, it requires a technical climb, not just hiking

did anyone see that german mountain climbing movie North Face/Nordwand? if it didnt come out the same year as batman, it would have easily been best movie of 2008

yeah k2 is a beast compared to Everest. 1 out of 4 climbers die trying to climb it

Really makes me want to go up into the mountains. the tallest mountain in my area is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Charleston

although I really would like to go to yosemite. also would like to check out the valley of fire near me.
