ITT I show some of my art. Please don't laugh.

I'm studying a diploma in art at the moment. I've been showing some huge improvement, considering I haven't done much serious art since high school.

Here's a few things I've been working on over the last four months. Some of this stuff isn't finished.

A photo of some photos I took.

What I'm currently working on.

GIVE ME YOUR CRITICISMS. I CAN TAKE THEM.

those flowers are really nice. I'm actually kinda surprised by these, you seem to actually have a good eye for composition, which is like, to me, one of the most important things and is really hard to learn. I'm not really into all the drawings of people. this one looks like Michael Jackson (I'm guessing its you). not crazy about the photos either. but the other design/flower/egg stuff looks cool. there's a lot of people who are into art like that, and I'm not really one of them, but I can appreciate the quality of them.

Thanks! Yeah I'm crazy about the faces either. I'd love to be good at life drawing, but I'm coming to terms with the fact that maybe I'd be better at something like textiles? Repetitive patterns, ink drawings and the like, seem to come to me more naturally and it's stuff I've been doing since I was a kid. Thanks BR.

yeah, I mean figure drawing is really hard and takes a lot of practice. don't let me deter you, if that's what you want to pursue.

Nah you're not the first person to say it. My tutor said my style is suited more to illustration than real life drawing, but you should see the improvement I've made compared to the first face drawing I did four months ago, I'll post it a bit later. I drew Shaun's old profile pic that you commented on something to do with Pokemon, that's sort of mid way through the course so far.

Heres a drawing they made us do on the first day. I love coming back to it every so often, it makes me feel pretty positive about my progress

LMAO at the faces!!!! HAHAHAHAHAA!!! Everything sucks ass except the flowers, those are real nice, especially the green and purple one. All of your portraits look like retarded inbreds. You have no concept of shading. When I see people like you and Nearhi draw, it looks so shitty, I think you guys are retarded. Like how do you just not go like "Wait, if I do this or not shade this all stupid it won't look so horrible." Or you can't do the very simple task of drawing two eyes even SOMEWHAT close to the same size. I mean look at those, they are not even close to the same size!! HAHAHAHAA!! You guys lack essential motor skills. You really are retarded. It's common sense for the shading, and basic motor skills for the eyes.

The fact that you say Kyle Magocs is brilliant is a testament to your retardedness.

These were impressive! I didn't know you were an artist at all!

You have a gift for design. Much like BR said, that's compositional. You also have an ability to handle pattern and complexity with ease (or so I assume!)

The figure drawings are not bad, actually pretty good! But they definitely have you going to comfortable places (like relying on your pencil shading, etc.). Your lines and ideas seem much more comfortable in the completely abstract

Thanks guys I didn't think the flowers were that good actually. The last thing is going to be my favourite, I've never worked so hard or tirelessly on anything in my life, I'm really proud of it already.

hahaha I never know what to think of Omnirom. like if I was driving past him on the street I'd be torn between intentionally running him down and getting out and giving him the car

No, I have a parking spot though. I'm going to spend a couple nights there in 2-3 weeks. I'll post how it is, if I have sufficient youjizz, xtube access, etc.
