hahaha, that's pretty awesome! I can't believe they have Bob Eggleton involved (though I definitely doubt its more than a few sketches).

They have some pretty cool stuff there. I know that Godzilla fans are well entrenched in the art and video game scene, but I wouldn't have guessed that they'd go this far out of their way. With a new Godzilla movie coming up and Pacific Rim, there's actually a chance that interest in these properties and concepts could be strong next year. Either way, they managed a pledge out of me. Doesn't look like they'll make it, though

They'll likely just start a new kickstarter and try to the get the remaining amount if they don't make it.

So looks awesome. Loved the Godzilla fighting games and this looks great.

I mean, Kickstarter doesn't work like that. They'd have to start all over again, which, if someone they've partnered with is shaken by the lack of fan support, might not happen.

This definitely does look interesting, though I always kinda preferred War Of The Monsters to the Godzilla games.

Didn't know there was a limitation for restarting kickstarters. I have a feeling though that this kickstarter might not have to worry about that. They've nearly reached $50,000 as of this post. Unless there's a big period of no big donations coming in then I'm betting they'll just clinch it before the deadline is up.
