How is there no thread for this yet?

I finally caught this last night. I thought it was great.

It's sad to know that this is Judi Dench's last Bond film, even though it feels like she's been in a lot of them. I did find Silva's revenge plot a little far-fetched, and very Dark Knight-esque, and I was expecting to see a shot of Daniel Craig lining up his micro-machines on the top of the stairs during the "getting ready" montage, but I thought Thomas Newman did a great job with the score, (his first time on a bond film?) and I loved all of the callbacks to the previous films. Everything felt sharply written, and I think Mendes handled the material very well.

All and all, worth the wait.
