A Nightmare on Nisa Street
Samurai Clinton's Avatar
Plot Summary:
A toy factory in the small town of Nunica, MI has a problem communicating with Planet Nisa laborers when an intergalactic freight delivery crystal fails unexpectedly.

I have just made a comedy Christmas movie that uses some characters from horror movies, and it also has the feel of low budget 60s sci-fi movies too.

This movie is a sequel to Fan 9 From Outer Space, and A Voyage To Planet Nisa.

I hope this gets good reviews. Because I would film another Planet Nisa movie if it did.

Hahaha. Ok, I admit I didn't watch it all, but the factory full of Mczees and the imp talkingmade me laugh. A definite improvement, just a bit of custom scenery needs to be used.

The movies and other entertainment from horror, sci-fi and other genres I was trying to parody throughout the Planet Nisa series were Plan 9 From Outer Space, Santa Claus Conquers The Martians, A Nightmare On Elm Street, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Frankenstein, Dracula, Doom, A Voyage To The Moon, Friday the 13th, The Shanty Where Santy Claus Lives, Ernest Saves Christmas, and lots of other Christmas movies.

RIP Bela Lugosi 1882-1956

Some say this was the worst sci-fi and/or Christmas movie

Boy we love Rudolph.

This is what started Looney Tunes.

Ernest P. Worrell is my idol! RIP Jim Varney 1949-2000

some of those aforementioned YouTube video mirrors of classic Christmas media were the Christmas influences toward this idea.

edit: I'm watching Ernest Saves Christmas on YouTube while waiting for further feedback.

I will admit that I still used some Nickelodeon and Doraemon resources to film this, but at least I didn't make it explicitly a Nickelodeon-esque movie like the previous projects I was criticized for.

Hey, so I just watched this whole thing. Like the last one in this series, I think it's definitely better than your usual work, since the story is original and some effort seems to have gone into the scenery and animation. An improvement you could make is a lot more action, a lot less dialogue, a more streamlined and less-convoluted story (meaning not so many irrelevant details), and changing shots more often. For instance, the shot of the panel when the spaceship was crashing was well done, detailed, and didn't overstay its welcome. Stuff like that is the right idea. Also, this is just too long for most people, in terms of willingness to watch movies by you. I'd recommend putting the same amount of effort and time into a movie that is 1/4 the size, then I think it would really be great. But still, this is definitely an improvement.

Well, on the line that said "we need to find a mechanic before we leave the moon with the crystal, otherwise we're scrooged", was supposed to be an homage to Ebeneezer Scrooge.

for these reasons:
1. Scrooged sounds similar to screwed
2. The mission that Imp and Dracula we're on would have made them a scrooge if they failed it.

So here is some advice for the upcoming holiday season. Don't be a scrooge. Happy Halloween, and Happy Holidays from Samurai Clinton.

I am trying to promote this movie for Halloween.

Halloween is only in 6 days. I wanna make a Christmas, but I'm not just gonna waste my time and energy filming PART 2 if people aren't going to yearn for footage after Imp and Dracula's sightings of presents under the tree. I think PART 2 is worthy of perhaps maybe a New Years Eve party.

Clinton, is "Nisa" meant to be a pun or a references to something? I've never quite understood the Planet Nisa/Nisa Street thing. Where did you get the name from?

It stands for "Nunica Industrial Service Administration", seeing that it took place in Nunica. Planet Nisa is the English name for the alien planet they warp products to and from the Nunica, MI branch of Santa's Workshop, and the Anglicized alien name of the planet is Jheyulmurushu. The only reason why the planet was named after the acronym for Nunica's Industrial Service Administration was for simplification purposes since a convoluted alien name wouldn't be comprehensible to the average English-speaking person. I am a fan of sci-fi movies, of which is why I wanted spaceship travel in this movie, as well as some monochromatic tone reminiscent to Plan 9, while having some humourous homages from Santa Claus Conquers The Martians, alongside the idea of horror movie elements with a story bent around Christmas which was inspired by Tim Burton's A Nightmare Before Christmas.

As far as views go for this movie I made, it managed to get 160 views within 6 days. But for some reason, this silent film got 6 thumbs down, and 3 thumbs up. I have a hard time understanding moviemaking to the average expectations sometimes. I got a unique taste in movies that leads to, sometimes eccentric projects. Apparently I spammed this movie all over 3DMM, and Phil Williamson send me a PM to stop spamming it. But I personally think that 3DMMers should show this to friends this Halloween.
