Teenagers Trick or Treating Comic Strip

Here is my very first Comic strip that I drew and it's about that the two Teenagers are being in Disguise as tommy Torribinson the Beaver and his girlfriend Molly Sweetswell the Squirrel to Play Trick or Treat in Halloween.

haha yeah sorry man this needs a punchline?

i'm gonna sound really lame now but even for the post-modern anti-joke non-punchline effect, you're still 2 frames over the "norm". because sadly that shit DOES have a norm, man.

if the punchline is that the teeth and nose of the costume in the bottom left panel look like an unsettling snake monster, you buried that joke too deep, man

I dug around his Deviant Art page and I think the joke is that the two animal costumes are actually characters from his strips, so two teenagers are dressing up as characters from his strip, and it's like a crossover or something...

Aw, I was really disappointed to learn that it's supposed to be a crossover because the comic at face value is fucking hilarious. It goes absolutely nowhere and doesn't form a joke. Just two romantically involved people talking about and then going through with trick or treating. Oh well - it sucks as a crossover.

Actually, you had it right. This is just how Deakin rolls. He draws random characters doing menial crap and that's why this is so good.
