2012 Chicago Game Jam

Over the weekend my friend and I (the one I own my company with) participated in a game jam where you sit down and make a game in a short amount of time - this time it was 39 hours but we did ours in a little less (though not much, lol).

Anyway we won first place! Figured I'd brag here. Any Windows users can download it at the link on this page:

Do you mean the ZIP? Yeah I noticed Chrome doesn't trust it for some reason...just tell it to "Keep". I promise there's nothing dangerous .. except maybe for your mental health.

I mean, I do a 24 hour game comp every fall but 39 is just such a strange number

I take it there's no real way to prevent the orphanage from being destroyed?

I found seven endings, and I think that's all of them.

Edit: Eight endings. I didn't realize pressing HELP ended the game.

boy is my face red.

It technically started at 7pm friday but we just did planning & discussion that night, I only worked like an hour or so on code and slept about 3 hours. Then on Saturday we began at 8am and the deadline was 10am Sunday (thus the 39 hours TOTAL) and I worked straight through to Sunday 8am, so I finished a tad early. If you ask me it was basically 24 hours, but technically 39.
