I could make a PSA of ducks being "dead" in oil-ridden oceans using this prop. This is why oil leaks from the ocean would be less rampant if there was less customer demand for oil, in which alternative energy technology is here to save us from disaster, not give more excuses to talk people stupid.

Thank you for submitting this actor.

I get it...

But duck carcasses slimed with crude, especially in quantity, to me means that chaos is at its fray.

PSAs about animal rights and environmentalism could stem just from this prop.

well, you can always email Strongbad about your views on global warming, or leave a voice message on Marzipan's answering machine about the outlook of the imbalance on our natural resources. Of which is just one possible reason the economy is bad. You can always have the poopsmith scoop up slimey oil from the oceanic waters at shore.

This picture:
Makes no sense.
Is absolute bullshit.
Has no thought put into it.
Fails to deliver the message it was made to send.
Fucking pissed me off because of all the above.

I don't see what Homestar Runner has to do with oil spills.

And, I don't see why you can't admit indirect guilt to animal cruelty. I feel that placing demand on a commodity that involves offshore drilling that gambles with gushing oil into an ocean is something that constitutes animal cruelty if any casualty involves birds washing up on shore slimed in crude.

You, or somebody may be indirectly guilty for animal cruelty (though some others directly are on some occasions), but your effort to submit this actor means that you have made amends to some of the indirect guilt of animal cruelty seeing that it depends on what products we buy on the market that places demand on raw materials that prompt more offshore drilling which I mentioned the BP oil spill was an extreme example.

You should be proud to have a user put fourth the effort of propping the actor on a PSA toward a good cause to rescue helpless animals like that in real life. Ya know, I can even admit that I was young and reckless back in 2003 and I even hurt a duck myself when I was in Canada, and I feel so bad now, and I made amends by making a PSA with your submission.

So, lets just say that we share the same guilt but for a different reason or regard.

dude, why do you think we use petrol? Because there is not much else. Vegetable oil is hard to use and get hold of, diesel is expensive, electric is inefficient, solar is way too expensive, hybrid is way too expensive, public transport does not go everywhere on Earth, I think I've made my point. If you don't want to use petrol, by all means do so, but condemning over a billion people for indirect animal cruelty is wrong.

£1.39 at Tesco. Pretty easy to use, just put it in the pan and wait to heat up

Isn't using vegetable oil in petrol cars illegal though? Not EPA approved or something?

But at least electric cars like the Chevy Volt, the Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus Electric, and Ford Transit Connect EV are fairly easy to come by. If you have good income, you can just put them on a financing plan. Besides, all the money you spend on gas within a year is probably equivilent to the APR financing rate for any of those given models.

I'm not condemning those people, I'm just accusing them with moral principle.

Besides, if you think about dead animals in crude, PETA stands for Petroleum Emits Toxic Allergens, and I can still agree that it also deals with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals too.

yeah, and you really think we can all suddenly switch to electricity? That's not possible, and electricity fucking sucks. they had a documentary on BBC about how long it took to drive up to Edinburgh with an electric car, and it took about 3 days. it usually takes 11 hours, or about 9 with diesel. You have to stop so much to recharge. They are getting better, but the prices are still really high.
