Channel 64's War On Ninglefest
by Dino
Dino's Avatar
Plot Summary:
A community movie made over 3 years honouring our favourite characters and moments.

After watching The Big Movie we were inspired to make our own version with our favourite friends and characters. So Bob and I set out and made entries after entries and compiled what we had. Unfortunately on May 5th, Bob's house was broken into and his laptop with his best entries was stolen. Stirred on, we finished what we could and finished it, I hope you guys enjoy it.

Here Are the character you should watch out for:
Ben: Can morph into anything and summon safes from the sky
Arse: Drops out of the sky
Fishy: Steals cars/makes horse noices
Jamie/Simmo: Walks infront of cameras
Bowser/Budgie: Interupts scenes with the his name above himself
N64 Commentators: Commentate the movie
Sales Guy: Gets shot and everyone in the vicinity bails

That was a nice movie!
It had some really awesome ideas and it was fun to watch.
The Pokémon battle was really cool, well made!
Also why did the dancefloor animate for only 2-3 frames?
And why did Michael fly to Denmark instead of Norway at scene 49?. And I never understood what Patrick the commentator was saying haha. Just some minor things. Sometimes the animation was okay and sometimes pretty good. Overall it's a nice film

Compared to BBQ 3 this is at the same level as all of Samurai Clinton's movies. I had to skip the intro, it was far too annoying, I watched a couple of scenes, default scenes then had to skip through a couple more.. It just sorta.. Got worse. You can do better, Dino.

Yeah, default scenes, no real story or plot, silly voice acting etc.

yes because it was inspired by The Big Movie, which has no story/plot. Just a bunch of silly characters in a compilation of joke movies

I'm going to have to side with adelitas on this. It might've been a fun thing for you and your friend to do, but it's way too slow, senseless, and unfunny to watch. At least the first quarter or whatever, which was all I could get through.

At this stage in 3dmming, your efforts would really be best spent by spending a lot of time on a few minutes of material rather than stretching out that same amount of effort to a half hour.

Maybe it's the big movie i'm thinking of, with the weird ideas made in movies, things sticking to people with two specific noises or something.

Either way, whatever it is I'm thinking of was done with far more care, and had more time spent on it actually animating and making it worth watching..

They put effort into this and they were pretty nice scenes and good ideas in it if you've watched the full thing.

for what it is, I find it nice

Wow, default scenes, silly voice acting, no story or plot, I swear big movie is full of this exact stuff, and of course it's doesn't compare to big movie, that was made by 30+ people counting all the entries that didn't make the final cut and made by much better animators like Haynes, Dan, Sanford and so on. So comparing this movie to big movie rather than just referring to its style is pointless.

no no, the style and ideas or whatever aren't what made big movie good - it was the animation. every member who made a part for the big movie spent time on it and made it enjoyable, this was cringeworthy and boring..

like i said before, samurai clinton level movie.

you don't need to get defensive over your movie being bad, you just need to take in the criticism and step it up next time.

the style and ideas definitely were what made it good. people didn't want to see the same jokes animated well, they wanted to see different IDEAS AND STYLES of doing the jokes, which is what made the movie funny.

it wouldn't have been funny if all the entries had been well animated, but had the same ideas and styles.

Anyway, about the movie:

The Pokemon battle was very well done. And Valentine animating in the mall was pretty neat. However, there were a lot of moments that really seemed to drag on, especially in the beginning. It got better towards the end, especially when the plot began to develop. Definitely NOT "on the same level as Samurai Clinton's films."

Yeah rivers gets it, and yeah it got slow in parts because a lot of the entries are old and out of date, the only entries done this year is the ending, the one in space and the Pokemon battle, even though I would of liked to remake them, but I want this movie out so I can start my others.

And how is the big movie 2 coming along, did Commander Bob send my 2 entries up? The bond one and the cat vs valentine one?
