My Graduate Movie

"Alone in their isolated apartment, the infatuation shared between Alexis and Myles reaches dramatic heights as told through his turbulent paranoia and her bizarre mind-altering sleep disorders. As the tragedy unfolds, the nature of their fractured relationship is exposed as being the ultimate societal taboo."

So this is my graduate movie. It's a ten minute drama and after the response and production analysis is in I'll hopefully be done with uni. I'd appreciate any comments, I know the male actor sucks ass but hopefully it's not too distracting and SOMEONE understands it.

Erm, okay so I'm going to say some things you may not like now :[

The sound editing is really bad, man.

The effects overpower the talking at the start, and then at around 3 minutes, everything shifts to the right speaker.

Besides that, I didn't really care for the writing. Or the acting. Or the directing. Or anything really, I found it all really amateur honestly. I'd go more into detail with you if you want but I'm not sure if you're interested in that kind of review. Lemme know!

BUT ALSO

You did make it and you should be immensely proud of yourself for that. I know that it's not easy. And I look forward to watching you grow with your filmmaking :3

Honestly I think the worst part of this is the sound editing by the way, just atrocious. Tell Julian Wright that if he's going to do the sound, to freaking, yknow, do it right, what the hell.

I should also note that I did not get the ending.

seriously huge spoiler so don't;Seems a little silly that he'd kill himself just because of something she said when he KNEW she was sleep-talking. Also, are they incestuous brother and sister, is that it? Because if so that 'twist' adds nothing.

I should probably note that I hated this movie and have little to no interest in pursuing filmmaking anymore since my course murdered my interest in it ahaha. Yeah sound sucks :/ and the idea is that the end is an accident but the actor was so fucking bad.

Ah well I got that; to be honest that was so clear I thought there had to more to the ending with how you talked about it.

haha, same thing happened to me. I took film school for about a year when I was 20 or so and it just killed my interest. IT'S FOR THE BEST. I'll watch this when I get internet that isn't awful.

I felt like I was literally forced into making this movie to complete a brief and sell as a product and I was like fucck that. Even though I get the way my school was geared to being in the industry. I miss 3dmm, the only thing I had to worry about from that was the constant criticism haaaa.
