Just a small trailer for you guys to hopefully enjoy, a lot of it is still being worked on, several scenes you may notice specific things are missing. This movie is still on around 10% through, I still have months of work to do, you can expect massive war scenes, space-age fighter jets, horseback chase scenes and such later on.

Most of all! I have only just realized that the plot sort of sounds like STEEL, damn.

thanks guys, got a lot of work to do on it, most of the scenes in the trailer will be cleaned up a lot once i'm finished with the movie, i'll go through all the scenes one by one and add extra detail and such

I have to say, I'm really impressed by the manually animated arms. I never thought to do that before.

It looks better in 3dmm, camstudio messes with the colours a bit, the sand looks pretty fucked up haha

Looks pretty cool + well animated. The separately animated arms are awesome. I do think, though, that a lot of the angles are kind of boring/passive. The angles are hardly ever tilted, in 90% of these shots it's just kinda dead on and not very dynamic, and usually eye level.

I'd also say there's a bit of an inconsistency with the quality of textures. At 0:09 in the trailer, there are some awesome textures, great looking pillars etc, but it sort of looks like they're standing in a giant basket. The flesh coloured ground seems like a pretty odd choice, too. I'd maybe use the textures from http://3dmm.com/showthread.php?t=13693 if you don't have that already.

Despite all that though it's looking good so far, and I'll probably give it a watch when it's out.

Please ensure his arms mach his chest in the 3dmm version, oh god please, because that looks awful and isn't that hard to change.

Also I agree with Jack Bz that a lot of the angles look boring and uninspired. Some of the scenes are fairly basic FLOOR/WALL + ACTORS kind of thing, like a 2D platform game.

It is just a trailer, but do keep that in mind.

thanks guys, like i said i have a lot to work on, the arms textures didn't turn out to great when i tried to match them for 3dmm, but the camstudio recording doesn't even slightly look the same, so it looks 10x worse, a lot of the textures do look a little weird because of it.

i'll be using a lot of different textures for this, and like i said i'll be going through everything to touch it up, no point perfecting everything as i'm animating because i'll just burn myself out/bore myself. i know what you mean about the boring scenes though, i was mainly trying to show off some of the fight scenes etc

only about 10% (if even near that) through this movie, i have a feeling i'll have to seperate it into 2-3 files depending on whether or not i can get on one of my older computers, this laptop is running windows 7 and it apparently hates v3dmm. i'll keep you all updated though
