It depends on the form factor of the motherboard. If it is an ATX or microATX case that is just mounted upside-down in an inverse ATX case, then you shouldn't have any concerns. However, if it is a BATX motherboard, then it is not compatible with ATX form factor cases unless the case manufacturer specifically says otherwise.

If it's on the left side of the case, and it has the PCI slots at the top, then I'm pretty sure it has to be an ATX or microATX motherboard. I have no experience working with BATX motherboards though, so I might be overlooking something. Tell us the exact model of the PC, and I can confirm with certainty.

That said, some older heat pipe technologies don't work as well (or at all) when they are mounted opposite the orientation they were designed to work in. I doubt an entry level computer like this one even has heat pipes on any of its heat sinks though, and even if it did, I'm guessing it isn't old enough to have heat pipes that could possibly be sensitive to this.

I've mastered my ability to dismantle contraptions. This is why I am willing to either cannibalize parts by dismantling it completely, or fix it back up if its worth fixing.

I could just find old computer parts if I could.
