closing archives to the public

i made a thread in the testing forum but i guess a handful of people agree it's a good idea. would you be able to make it so archives aren't viewable without a board membership? a handful of us went by our real names a long time ago, and if you google our names, some pretty damning shit comes up. now that we are all adults, it'd be nice to not have potential employers/professors/that girl we follow sometimes end up googling our names and it hurting our chances.

Basically any post that isn't from this week/month/year/however long you want to section it off to "members only". Preferably I'd want threads from the non-3dmm forums off of google altogether, but I'm not sure if you can do that.

But because i changed my board name to my real name even all my old posts show up. Like really pathetic ones. Goat, if you can't change this - can you please delete all my posts and my account? I could always come back with a new alias - seems easier to hide it all though - especially as many of us are looking into pretty good jobs.

Its just annoying that we all need to change our alias in order to not show up. I'm "Lohr" because of this, but so many people call me Chris in their posts to me that "Chris Lohr" still shows 3DMM.

I'll see what I can do. I took steps a couple years ago to stop bots from indexing threads entirely, but I guess it didn't apply to the archive at the bottom.
