If you ever get attacked like that again, your best way of escaping the situation is to pick the attacker up, no matter how heavy - Just try, and slam him down. Maybe take up some sort of self defence class? A quick chop to the throat is normally enough to scare someone off, or stun them long enough for you to get away.

I felt angry reading this. I don't hear from Skitch in ages, and when I finally do hear from him, it's this.

Seems like thugs these days are going rear naked choke crazy. People are getting "sucker choked" nowadays. Let's hope that never happens again, but for future reference, just try to pull down on the arm and tuck your chin under the arm. If you see an opportunity to hit someone in the balls, don't hesitate.

Horrible story. Sounds like the guy knew what he was doing. Appealing to your compassion and letting your guard down before he pinned you. In these situations, it's difficult to say what could have been done differently to avoid another occurrences such as this. He'll probably keep doing this until he gets caught, which might not happen. The thought depresses me.

Right, it started off I was in Deja Vu (Nightclub) with two friends, and we got another one in (I had to pay him in, he's cheap.) And within 10 minutes some random guy dragged him out in a hurry, my thoughts were he was going to get hit, so I rushed outside to see what was going on - When I got out, his friends gathered round me saying "Don't start." etcetc, then all of a sudden I got punched in the back of the head, giving me a swollen ear, and when I turned round the bouncer had already thrown him out.

I went back inside after it had all calmed down and told my mate Rhys, an English friend of mine brought up on gang fighting basically - And he said just to leave it 'til the club closes, and we'll deal with them. So I did.

We left the club at 2:30am, Police were right outside and we began walking down a street to walk home as we'd spent our taxi money. Then I noticed them behind us, and asked Rhys to help me out if they started.

They gathered round me again, and the guy that punched me in the nightclub ran up behind me - This time I heard him and immediately ducked down, he went over the top of me and got back onto his feet, so I pushed him; as soon as I done that, all of his friends began throwing punches and kicks that in my mind - Would easily knock someone onto the floor if landed properly. I put my hand up to guard my face, they kept going and I realized they weren't backing down. I grabbed the biggest guy, the one that punched me before and lifted him up and dropped him - Then I began throwing punches, after landing 3 or 4 they scattered. The police then ran up to me, grabbed me and asked why I attacked them, they assumed I'd attacked my friend Rhys because he wasn't standing near me, he was half way along the street (He'd gotten scared). Basically, talked to the Police and they left it.

Recently the guys who attacked me found my facebook and started sending me death threats for hitting them and apparently 'breaking Nathan's nose' - I have no idea who Nathan is either.

EDIT: Bibilo, that's if my friend still has it, it was 3 weeks before New Year this took place. I will try and find someone who has it though.
