Gay Marriage

Wow. 10 out of the 11 states voting to ban gay marriage have actually banned it.

That is fucked up.

I just hate that anyone could just do that. I mean, how does it affect anyone? No one is being forced to marry another man/woman. Some people, namely Republicans, just want to eliminate choice, even when it doesn't affect them. They hate choice. It sucks. Its bullshit.

Your views?

I think the state should grant them a legal document of marriage, giving them the benefits and such. The churches can decide whether they can do the ceremony in their building or not. That way, the gays get fun benefits, and the churches can continue not letting them get married in their cribs.

Yayuh.

Alright, well, if we're going to ban Gay Marriage, lets just bring back the old rules, and make the niggers go drink at the shitty water fountain.

Sounds good to me.

I overheard some faggot in my Art class say something like.

"Two gay guys and two gay girls are totally different.. because, you know, when two girls are dancing naughty, it's hot.. you know? But when two guys are getting naughty, it's just like.. eww."

I wanted to punch him in the face, he always says retarded shit like this.

I like how Mississippi's vote was 90% for banning 10% against banning. Intolerance is silly.

Hey Brix, do both you and KC Vikander love KMFDM? Cuz I do too. And we're all from Minnesota. Cool.

And why do they want to get married? I don't see the big advantage.

The worst part is WHY DOES THAT MATTER? You don't have to marry another guy.

FOR EXAMPLE: I hate chocolate. I can't stand the taste of it, I think it's disgusting.
I have NEVER, even in my most mad RULE THE WORLD moments, thought "EATING CHOCOLATE SHOULD BE ILLEGAL".

I see zero reason why anyone should be against gay marriage. NONE.

BTW, "some faggot" ? very subtle

The number one reason people are against it is because it breaks the tradition of marriage. They believe marriage is, and has always meant to be one man and one woman. Breaking that tradition is breaking a holy rule.

Because Britney Spears' one-weekend marriage with her friend was a celebration of tradition.

My opinion: Who cares? Doesn't really affect anything, like Puppy said.

Just one thing....why do gay people care about marriage so much? Is it only for the benefits? It barely means anything, they can just say they're married or "together" or something. I mean, I'm asking a question actually, why do they care? If anyone could give a logical reason then I would at least see why.

Hey, imbecile. You made the same mistake. Only difference is Pizza The Hut likes KID A, so I like him. You, on the other hand, can go chew on some cyanide.

I don't see why it should be an amendment. The issue of banning gay marriage does not deserve to tarnish something as "sacred" as the Constitution.

I don't really care, if gay marriage is legal or not.. I mean, I'm not gay, it doesn't really affect me (directly anyway), and I don't really see a big problem with it. LIKE EVERYONE EVER HAS SAID, it's not like making gay marriage legal, is going out gay-i-tizing everyone, so YES.

Should be legal.

Oh whoops, I didn't even read the rest of this thread. My question was already asked....gosh, I just realized how ignorant I was .. just now, because I had to look up what rights it gave you. I knew the basics, I just didn't know about all the extra stuff, like better insurance rates. AT LEAST I ADMITTED IT
