Plot Summary:
A fake (but, to us, entertaining) movie I made in front of my friends to show different techniques, styles, and skills used in making a simple 3D Movie Maker movie... including a few problems. "Strange things started happening... strange things I can't explain."

I made this a few months ago, for exactly the reason I put in the plot summary.

Out of Sync Warning: So, when I made this on my other slightly less crappy computer, it ran perfectly... perfectly slow. Once I watched the movie with a little bit upgraded RAM, I was disappointed when the whole "fast part" of the movie went out of sync and I felt it ruined it. After re-watching it though, it is flawed but it's still does the job. I had planned on adding subtitles to the fast part but instead I've decided I'll probably just remake this movie someday and at least double the length with more.. stuff.
Some examples are during the last scene the music is supposed to run and the characters kinda move with it, and then the movie would have ended at the end of the music.. but now it's just silence, oh well.

YouTube-ifying & Upload thanks to WeenFanMike <3 :P

If you can hear what I'm saying during the fast part, you'll notice quite a few known (or unknown) real-movie references.

Note: Along with opening the scene selector... clicking through all the scenes and then starting the movie also give different results..on my computer.

Lol I liked it! The music set the mood perfectly and I laughed out loud when he began explaining everything to the therapist. The ending was kind of disappointing but appropriate. No out of sync problems for me, by the way. Upload it to youtube!

Beginning was kind of forced and not really funny.

When the credits start to appear though, it has a cool style to it. I loled when the camera goes through his face.

Haha, ok, now it's awesome.

As you said, I had some syncing issues.

Alright, not bad, not great. Good effort. This is definitely of the quality that other people should really watch it though. Should be youtubed.

Commentary:
Yes the beginning was more of just getting my friend to have a brief look of voice acting and then to show him how I would sync the voice to certain animations, and of course how sometimes changing the camera angle up adds interest to a simple conversation. Then of course there was the idea of adding simple background happenings such as the waitress bringing the food.
I then went on to show them how you could make a bloody/gory gun shot frame-by-frame, and how I would add tiny interactions to the environment such as the plate moving.
I think there was a total of 4 songs in there, in which I showed them how easy it was to find music from the internet and then edit it(or take a song from another movie if it's not too serious). The scene with the title credits was just showing some text techniques for fading the colors and how to add frames for music syncing. The text credits and walking narrating scene was a sort of "serious style" scene which I added some subtle humor like the camera and how I kept repeating title credits such as "Written by" and "Produced by" multiple times :P.
And finally, the entire fast part was to show how again you could change styles to make a movie (at least a comedy movie) work with little animation, and of course all the little details in making them.

Because of how easy and fun it was to make this movie, I've wanted to remake it and extend past the "Intermission" part. I was even thinking of keeping the entire fast part but later going through each story in real-time xD which would let me attempt a few different movie genres in one. Oh and, of course I mainly want to remake it so that everything would synchronize audio to video, because I truly did have it all timed nicely ;-;.

As for youtube, I would freakin' love to but I don't have access to a computer that can do it. If I even think of running a 2nd program with 3DMM it's very laggy.

I heart you straightly indeed, especially since now I can show many other people with a simple link!
Ah I'm also very glad to see that it's not horribly out of sync, in fact the way the movie ends and the music stops perfectly in a new way was great actually made me and my friends laugh one last time before ending.
