Fan 9 From Outer Space
Samurai Clinton's Avatar
Plot Summary:
A Parody of Plan 9 From Outer Space using 3DMM for the core rendering of an animation converted to black and white animation with Sony Vegas (along with silly effects applied).

Friday the 13th is tomorrow. Thus I decided to release a Friday the 13th special in August as an early Halloween special for the year!

This year, Friday the 13th is in August; and realizing that Friday the 13th was days away; I decided to make a silly parody of Plan 9 From Outer Space with zany effects and as a black and white short.

I also wanted to make it somewhat of a silent film with a background horror orchestra track in it.

and also...

Since I have recently started posting links to on-demand videos rendered from 3dmm works for these "movie showcase forums", I think the criteria parameter menu options need to be tweaked some.

Notice how he replied with NOTHING relevant to what the person commented on.

He replied with the same thing after this guy:

The hell.

I thought you were against sexual references, Clinton. Why do you keep putting 69's in everything you make?

Also, what does this have to do with a fan? I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but seriously, you should have thought of a better pun/funnier title. Also, why did you just say the same thing to a guy who said v3dmm sucks to a guy who was praising the movie?

I liked the non-3dmm video effects but as for the actual animating, there wasn't really any.

Besides, non-3dmm effects give an extra touch to videos derived from 3dmm renderings.

You say "extra touch;" I say "another touch."

once you throw additonal effects on to a video made in 3dmm it is no longer a 3dmm movie, but a movie that uses 3dmm elements. This is the same case: this movie is no longer a 3dmm film.

Sure, some people use it (but they use it for a good reason. Good reasons in an EXAMPLE would be transitions. stock 3dmm transitions are awful, as you know) but the way you used it is more annoying and tedious than anything. What, is it some stock Vegas filter that you slapped on top of it?

You could have done better but you didn't. Instead, you added in other elements and those were just as terrible as the script, animations and just about everything else.

Overall, I give this a 69%

No, I didn't because by the looks of your video you're a gay-basher

no, you just gave "unordinaries" the characteristics of stereotypical homosexuals, and made a movie about killing them. Therefor, I am to believe that you are giving them a new title to hide the fact that they are homosexuals, also known as gays.

There's also nothing wrong with being "unordinary". Ordinary people are boring.

Clinton, this was probably the worst movie I've seen from you, aside from one of the commercials-remade-in-3DMM.

There's just no story here!

The entire thing can be summed up as this:
2 guys get in a spaceship and hope to fly to a planet.

How is that worth watching? NOTHING else happens. There are no jokes (unless WRITING THE NUMBER 69 COUNTS AS A JOKE, seriously what the hell), there's no conflict, nothing. They literally get in a spaceship and hope to fly to a planet. You don't even see them reach the planet. The text just tells us that they got there.

There is nothing to this movie.

100 - 69 = 31%.
